Student Focus: The Journey by Simran Babani

Simran, a student from the 2nd year of The One School Goa 3 Year Integrated Photography Program produced a body of work on a Train Journey during her 4th semester for a Visual Storytelling assignment.
In the preamble, Simran explains that ‘The Journey, is a series of photographs, where I want to show, how a train journey connects people and how people get so comfortable with people they have never seen before in a little time. They eat, sleep and keep their belongings as if they’re at home. It is a story about public transport where people share a different bond while they wait for their destination to arrive.’
